GUTENFETCH_INIT(3) FreeBSD Library Functions Manual GUTENFETCH_INIT(3)

gutenfetch_init -- Initialize the libgutenfetch library.

#include <gutenfetch.h>

gutenfetch_error_t
gutenfetch_init( void );

This function initializes many of the data structures used internally by the library as well as initialized 3rd party libraries like libcurl.

gutenfetch_init() returns GUTENFETCH_OK on success. On failure, you may figure out what caused the error by using the gutenfetch_error_to_string() function.

gutenfetch_shutdown(3), gutenfetch_version(3), gutenfetch_error_to_string(3)
