cURL is a multi-protocol tool for viewing and downloading
remote files. It supports FTP, TELNET, LDAP, GOPHER, DICT, FILE, HTTP, and HTTPS protocols,
and can be run from the command line.

| Installation
| |
To install cURL, run the following command from your server's
SSH or Telnet prompt:
% vinstall curl
You will probably want to add the path for cURL to your shell path variable. If you
are using csh (the default shell), add ~/usr/local/curl/bin to the end of the
path settings:
set path=(/bin /usr/bin /usr/local/bin ~/bin ~/usr/bin ~/usr/local/bin /usr/local/curl/bin)
To update your current shell, run the command:
% source ~/.cshrc
