GIT-SSNOQ(1) FreeBSD General Commands Manual GIT-SSNOQ(1)

git-ssnoq
display a status summary for files known to a Git repository

git-ssnoq [<options...>] [--] [<pathspec>...]

The git-ssnoq utility displays a short status summary (similar to git-ss or “git status --short”) that only describes the files known to the Git repository, i.e. in either its contents or index. It passes all command-line arguments to git-status(1).

The git-ssnoq utility exits 0 on success, and >0 if an error occurs.

See git-status(1).

See git-status(1).

Show a status summary for the current Git repository:

git ssnoq

Filter only the C source files from the summary of the src/ subdirectory:

git ssnoq src | egrep -e '.c$'

git-status(1)

The git-ssnoq utility was written by Peter Pentchev in 2012.
