IRCOMM(1) FreeBSD General Commands Manual IRCOMM(1)

ircomm
Connect stdin or pty to IrDA COMM port

ircomm [-aAghjprt] [-d device] [-l log_file] [-m max_speed] [-n station_name] [-v verbose_level] [-y pty]

The ircomm command initiates an IrDA COMM connection and connects stdin or a pty to it.

The options are as follows:

Use driver for ACTiSYS IR-220L dongle.
Use driver for ACTiSYS IR-220L+ dongle.
Specify IrDA device to use.
Log to file.
Use driver for Greenwich GIrBIL dongle.
Output help message.
Use driver for Extended Systems JetEye dongle.
Limit maximum baud rate.
Set station name, defaults to host name.
Use driver for Parallax LiteLink dongle.
Map newline (\n) to carraige return (\r) in input.
Use driver for Tekram IR-210B dongle.
Set verbosity level.
Redirect stdin/stdout to pty.
Fork and run as daemon.
