NAMEnetwork_service-gateway -DESCRIPTIONRepresents a router that lets your VCN privately access specific Oracle services such as Object Storage without exposing the VCN to the public internet. Traffic leaving the VCN and destined for a supported Oracle service (see ListServices <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/network/service/list.html>) is routed through the service gateway and does not traverse the internet. The instances in the VCN do not need to have public IP addresses nor be in a public subnet. The VCN does not need an internet gateway for this traffic. For more information, see Access to Oracle Services: Service Gateway <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Network/Tasks/servicegateway.htm>.To use any of the API operations, you must be authorized in an IAM policy. If you’re not authorized, talk to an administrator. If you’re an administrator who needs to write policies to give users access, see Getting Started with Policies <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Identity/Concepts/policygetstarted.htm>. AVAILABLE COMMANDS
attach
DescriptionAdds the specified Service <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/api/#/en/iaas/latest/Service/> to the list of enabled Service objects for the specified gateway. You must also set up a route rule with the cidrBlock of the Service as the rule’s destination and the service gateway as the rule’s target. See Route Table <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/api/#/en/iaas/latest/RouteTable/>.Note: The AttachServiceId operation is an easy way to add an individual Service to the service gateway. Compare it with UpdateServiceGateway <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/network/service-gateway/update.html>, which replaces the entire existing list of enabled Service objects with the list that you provide in the Update call. Usageoci network service-gateway attach [OPTIONS] Required Parameters
The service gateway’s OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm>.
The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the Service <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/api/#/en/iaas/latest/Service/>. Optional Parameters
Provide input to this command as a JSON document from a file using the file://path-to/file syntax. The --generate-full-command-json-input option can be used to generate a sample json file to be used with this command option. The key names are pre-populated and match the command option names (converted to camelCase format, e.g. compartment-id –> compartmentId), while the values of the keys need to be populated by the user before using the sample file as an input to this command. For any command option that accepts multiple values, the value of the key can be a JSON array. Options can still be provided on the command line. If an option exists in both the JSON document and the command line then the command line specified value will be used. For examples on usage of this option, please see our “using CLI with advanced JSON options” link: https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/API/SDKDocs/cliusing.htm#AdvancedJSONOptions

DescriptionCreates a new service gateway in the specified compartment. For the purposes of access control, you must provide the OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the compartment where you want the service gateway to reside. For more information about compartments and access control, see Overview of the IAM Service <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Identity/Concepts/overview.htm>. For information about OCIDs, see Resource Identifiers <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm>. You may optionally specify a display name for the service gateway, otherwise a default is provided. It does not have to be unique, and you can change it. Avoid entering confidential information. Usageoci network service-gateway create [OPTIONS] Required Parameters
The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the compartment to contain the service gateway.
List of the OCIDs of the Service <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/api/#/en/iaas/latest/Service/> objects to enable for the service gateway. This list can be empty if you don’t want to enable any Service objects when you create the gateway. You can enable a Service object later by using either AttachServiceId <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/network/service-gateway/attach.html> or UpdateServiceGateway <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/network/service-gateway/update.html>. For each enabled Service, make sure there’s a route rule with the Service object’s cidrBlock as the rule’s destination and the service gateway as the rule’s target. See Route Table <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/api/#/en/iaas/latest/RouteTable/>. This is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The value can be provided as a string on the command line or passed in as a file using the file://path/to/file syntax. The --generate-param-json-input option can be used to generate an example of the JSON which must be provided. We recommend storing this example in a file, modifying it as needed and then passing it back in via the file:// syntax.
The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the VCN. Optional Parameters
Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/resourcetags.htm>. Example: {"Operations": {"CostCenter": "42"}} This is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The value can be provided as a string on the command line or passed in as a file using the file://path/to/file syntax. The --generate-param-json-input option can be used to generate an example of the JSON which must be provided. We recommend storing this example in a file, modifying it as needed and then passing it back in via the file:// syntax.
A user-friendly name. Does not have to be unique, and it’s changeable. Avoid entering confidential information.
Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair with no predefined name, type, or namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/resourcetags.htm>. Example: {"Department": "Finance"} This is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the route table the service gateway will use. If you don’t specify a route table here, the service gateway is created without an associated route table. The Networking service does NOT automatically associate the attached VCN’s default route table with the service gateway. For information about why you would associate a route table with a service gateway, see Transit Routing: Private Access to Oracle Services <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Network/Tasks/transitroutingoracleservices.htm>.

DescriptionLists the service gateways in the specified compartment. You may optionally specify a VCN OCID to filter the results by VCN.Usageoci network service-gateway list [OPTIONS] Required Parameters
The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the compartment. Optional Parameters
Fetches all pages of results. If you provide this option, then you cannot provide the --limit option.
A filter to return only resources that match the given lifecycle state. The state value is case-insensitive. Accepted values are: AVAILABLE, PROVISIONING, TERMINATED, TERMINATING
For list pagination. The maximum number of results per page, or items to return in a paginated “List” call. For important details about how pagination works, see List Pagination <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/API/Concepts/usingapi.htm#nine>. Example: 50
For list pagination. The value of the opc-next-page response header from the previous “List” call. For important details about how pagination works, see List Pagination <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/API/Concepts/usingapi.htm#nine>.
When fetching results, the number of results to fetch per call. Only valid when used with --all or --limit, and ignored otherwise.
The field to sort by. You can provide one sort order (sortOrder). Default order for TIMECREATED is descending. Default order for DISPLAYNAME is ascending. The DISPLAYNAME sort order is case sensitive. Note: In general, some “List” operations (for example, ListInstances) let you optionally filter by availability domain if the scope of the resource type is within a single availability domain. If you call one of these “List” operations without specifying an availability domain, the resources are grouped by availability domain, then sorted. Accepted values are: DISPLAYNAME, TIMECREATED
The sort order to use, either ascending (ASC) or descending (DESC). The DISPLAYNAME sort order is case sensitive. Accepted values are: ASC, DESC

DescriptionUpdates the specified service gateway. The information you provide overwrites the existing attributes of the gateway.Usageoci network service-gateway update [OPTIONS] Required Parameters
The service gateway’s OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm>. Optional Parameters
Whether the service gateway blocks all traffic through it. The default is false. When this is true, traffic is not routed to any services, regardless of route rules. Example: true
Perform update without prompting for confirmation.
The value can be provided as a string on the command line or passed in as a file using the file://path/to/file syntax. The --generate-param-json-input option can be used to generate an example of the JSON which must be provided. For optimistic concurrency control. In the PUT or DELETE call for a resource, set the if-match parameter to the value of the etag from a previous GET or POST response for that resource. The resource will be updated or deleted only if the etag you provide matches the resource’s current etag value.
The maximum time to wait for the resource to reach the lifecycle state defined by --wait-for-state. Defaults to 1200 seconds.
The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the route table the service gateway will use. For information about why you would associate a route table with a service gateway, see Transit Routing: Private Access to Oracle Services <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Network/Tasks/transitroutingoracleservices.htm>.
List of all the Service objects you want enabled on this service gateway. Sending an empty list means you want to disable all services. Omitting this parameter entirely keeps the existing list of services intact. You can also enable or disable a particular Service by using AttachServiceId <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/network/service-gateway/attach.html> or DetachServiceId <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/network/service-gateway/detach.html>. For each enabled Service, make sure there’s a route rule with the Service object’s cidrBlock as the rule’s destination and the service gateway as the rule’s target. See Route Table <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/api/#/en/iaas/latest/RouteTable/>. This option is a JSON list with items of type ServiceIdRequestDetails. For documentation on ServiceIdRequestDetails please see our API reference: https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/api/#/en/iaas/20160918/datatypes/ServiceIdRequestDetails. This operation creates, modifies or deletes a resource that has a defined lifecycle state. Specify this option to perform the action and then wait until the resource reaches a given lifecycle state. Multiple states can be specified, returning on the first state. For example, --wait-for-state SUCCEEDED --wait-for-state FAILED would return on whichever lifecycle state is reached first. If timeout is reached, a return code of 2 is returned. For any other error, a return code of 1 is returned. Accepted values are: AVAILABLE, PROVISIONING, TERMINATED, TERMINATING
Check every --wait-interval-seconds to see whether the resource to see if it has reached the lifecycle state defined by --wait-for-state. Defaults to 30 seconds.
