REBUILD-IP-DB(1) FreeBSD General Commands Manual REBUILD-IP-DB(1)

rebuild-ip-db - recreate an IP address to hostname DB file

rebuild-ip-db ip2host.db < dns.cache

rebuild-ip-db recreates a DB file compatible with that produced by dns-terror from the (ASCII) output of convert-ip-db. It is mostly useful for disaster recovery.
