NAMEstreaming_admin_stream -DESCRIPTIONDetailed representation of a stream, including all its partitions.AVAILABLE COMMANDS
change-compartment
DescriptionMoves a resource into a different compartment. When provided, If-Match is checked against ETag values of the resource. The stream will also be moved into the default stream pool in the destination compartment.Usageoci streaming admin stream change-compartment [OPTIONS] Required Parameters
The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the compartment into which the resource should be moved.
The OCID of the stream. Optional Parameters
Provide input to this command as a JSON document from a file using the file://path-to/file syntax. The --generate-full-command-json-input option can be used to generate a sample json file to be used with this command option. The key names are pre-populated and match the command option names (converted to camelCase format, e.g. compartment-id –> compartmentId), while the values of the keys need to be populated by the user before using the sample file as an input to this command. For any command option that accepts multiple values, the value of the key can be a JSON array. Options can still be provided on the command line. If an option exists in both the JSON document and the command line then the command line specified value will be used. For examples on usage of this option, please see our “using CLI with advanced JSON options” link: https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/API/SDKDocs/cliusing.htm#AdvancedJSONOptions
For optimistic concurrency control. In the PUT or DELETE call for a resource, set the if-match parameter to the value of the etag from a previous GET or POST response for that resource. The resource will be updated or deleted only if the etag you provide matches the resource’s current etag value. Global ParametersUse oci --help for help on global parameters.--auth-purpose, --auth, --cert-bundle, --cli-auto-prompt, --cli-rc-file, --config-file, --debug, --defaults-file, --endpoint, --generate-full-command-json-input, --generate-param-json-input, --help, --latest-version, --max-retries, --no-retry, --opc-client-request-id, --opc-request-id, --output, --profile, --query, --raw-output, --region, --release-info, --request-id, --version, -?, -d, -h, -i, -v ExamplesCopy the following CLI commands into a file named example.sh. Run the command by typing “bash example.sh” and replacing the example parameters with your own. Please note this sample will only work in the POSIX-compliant bash-like shell. You need to set up the OCI configuration <https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/Content/API/SDKDocs/cliinstall.htm#configfile> and appropriate security policies <https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/Content/Identity/Concepts/policygetstarted.htm> before trying the examples. export name=<substitute-value-of-name> # https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/streaming/admin/stream/create.html#cmdoption-name export partitions=<substitute-value-of-partitions> # https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/streaming/admin/stream/create.html#cmdoption-partitions export compartment_id=<substitute-value-of-compartment_id> # https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/streaming/admin/stream/change-compartment.html#cmdoption-compartment-id stream_id=$(oci streaming admin stream create --name $name --partitions $partitions --query data.id --raw-output) oci streaming admin stream change-compartment --compartment-id $compartment_id --stream-id $stream_id create
DescriptionStarts the provisioning of a new stream. The stream will be created in the given compartment id or stream pool id, depending on which parameter is specified. Compartment id and stream pool id cannot be specified at the same time. To track the progress of the provisioning, you can periodically call GetStream <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/streaming/admin/stream/get.html>. In the response, the lifecycleState parameter of the Stream <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/api/#/en/streaming/20180418/Stream/> object tells you its current state.Usageoci streaming admin stream create [OPTIONS] Required Parameters
The name of the stream. Avoid entering confidential information. Example: TelemetryEvents
The number of partitions in the stream. Optional Parameters
The OCID of the compartment that contains the stream.
Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/Content/General/Concepts/resourcetags.htm>. Example: {"Operations": {"CostCenter": "42"}} This is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The value can be provided as a string on the command line or passed in as a file using the file://path/to/file syntax. The --generate-param-json-input option can be used to generate an example of the JSON which must be provided. We recommend storing this example in a file, modifying it as needed and then passing it back in via the file:// syntax.
Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair that is applied with no predefined name, type, or namespace. Exists for cross-compatibility only. For more information, see Resource Tags <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/Content/General/Concepts/resourcetags.htm>. Example: {"Department": "Finance"} This is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The maximum time to wait for the resource to reach the lifecycle state defined by --wait-for-state. Defaults to 1200 seconds.
The retention period of the stream, in hours. Accepted values are between 24 and 168 (7 days). If not specified, the stream will have a retention period of 24 hours.
The OCID of the stream pool that contains the stream.
This operation creates, modifies or deletes a resource that has a defined lifecycle state. Specify this option to perform the action and then wait until the resource reaches a given lifecycle state. Multiple states can be specified, returning on the first state. For example, --wait-for-state SUCCEEDED --wait-for-state FAILED would return on whichever lifecycle state is reached first. If timeout is reached, a return code of 2 is returned. For any other error, a return code of 1 is returned. Accepted values are: ACTIVE, CREATING, DELETED, DELETING, FAILED, UPDATING
Check every --wait-interval-seconds to see whether the resource to see if it has reached the lifecycle state defined by --wait-for-state. Defaults to 30 seconds. Global ParametersUse oci --help for help on global parameters.--auth-purpose, --auth, --cert-bundle, --cli-auto-prompt, --cli-rc-file, --config-file, --debug, --defaults-file, --endpoint, --generate-full-command-json-input, --generate-param-json-input, --help, --latest-version, --max-retries, --no-retry, --opc-client-request-id, --opc-request-id, --output, --profile, --query, --raw-output, --region, --release-info, --request-id, --version, -?, -d, -h, -i, -v ExamplesCopy the following CLI commands into a file named example.sh. DescriptionDeletes a stream and its content. Stream contents are deleted immediately. The service retains records of the stream itself for 90 days after deletion. The lifecycleState parameter of the Stream object changes to DELETING and the stream becomes inaccessible for read or write operations. To verify that a stream has been deleted, make a GetStream <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/tools/oci-cli/latest/oci_cli_docs/cmdref/streaming/admin/stream/get.html> request. If the call returns the stream’s lifecycle state as DELETED, then the stream has been deleted. If the call returns a “404 Not Found” error, that means all records of the stream have been deleted.Usageoci streaming admin stream delete [OPTIONS] Required Parameters
The OCID of the stream. Optional Parameters
Perform deletion without prompting for confirmation.
