dsv_line_set_fields(3) FreeBSD Library Functions Manual dsv_line_set_fields(3)

#include <xtend/dsv.h>
-lxtend

int     dsv_line_set_fields(dsv_line_t *dsv_line_ptr, char ** new_fields)

dsv_line_ptr Pointer to the structure to set
new_fields The new value for fields

Mutator for fields member in a dsv_line_t structure. Use this function to set fields in a dsv_line_t object from non-member functions. This function performs a direct assignment for scalar or pointer structure members. If fields is a pointer, data previously pointed to should be freed before calling this function to avoid memory leaks.

BL_DSV_DATA_OK if the new value is acceptable and assigned BL_DSV_DATA_OUT_OF_RANGE otherwise

dsv_line_t      dsv_line;
char **         new_fields;
if ( dsv_line_set_fields(&dsv_line, new_fields)
        == BL_DSV_DATA_OK )
{
}
