DESCRIPTION

firedns_aton4() takes an IPv4 address in dotted quad notation in ipstring and returns a struct in_addr containing the address in binary format.

RETURN VALUE

Returns a struct in_addr containing the IP address in binary form, or NULL if ipstring is not a valid IP.
